Hi Andy - good news as we're looking to achieve most of that in our first release of the App Library. Could you explain a little bit more about what you'd be hoping for in terms of categorisation? Is this just grouping apps into different types such as design, engineering etc, or were you thinking an easy way to add the app to an AppsAnywhere category at the same time as adding the app?

Hi Spencer. I was just thinking of the former, some predefined categories like graphics, video, engineering, design, etc.

I hadn't considered the latter, but being able to define\select the categories at app creation would simplify and be useful also.

Andy Corps: Thanks Andy - the way we've designed the first iteration of the App Library means that categorisation won't be included, but I can see the value in us including this in a future version and we can certainly start gathering the data around this in readiness. Thanks for the suggestion.

Was thinking this today as we consider application categorisation. If Applications templates could include the following details and be selectable in similar manner to an application's icon it would save us all a lot of time.

Application icon, description, categories with a basic vendor URL external website delivery method. Would be amazing!
