When a university has decentralized IT departments, they cannot restrict or delegate admin rights to specific parts of the Admin tools to individual users.

Similarly to restricting students' visibility to apps by log-in, Admins would only have access to what they are allowed to do.

In addition to this have, a permisisons set that would allow support staff to see and query application availability would be massive useful.

We, and i'd imagine others, get a lot of "user can't see application A" tickets. The service have no capability to see availability so can't help with these so they get escalated.

Mark West yes! The ability to have a read-only access to the Admin portal for first line support would make a big difference to us, being able to review provisions being one of the reasons
